African American Peer mentor Guidance Conference room

Last night at our Fall Sports Awards two senior athletes were missed in the recognitions – congratulations to Michael Noll on his GMC Academic Award and congratulations to Abby Taylor, who received 2nd Team All GMC for Volleyball.

French Club will have a cheese tasting party after school in the cafeteria on Nov 20th- Bring your club card 

Attention past art students!  If you are interested in entering the Scholastic Art Competition you need to see your former art teacher by November 30th to discuss the requirements and to get registered to enter.   

There will be an SGA meeting in room 204, Mrs. Miller’s room today after school.  Please expect to stay for about 30 minutes.

Media Center: ALL BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF DURING THE BELL CHANGE. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE  MEDIA CENTER TO USE THE RESTROOM, GO TO THEIR LOCKER, RETRIEVE SOMETHING THEY HAVE FORGETTEN, OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON, UNLESS IT IS A TRUE EMERGENCY.  YOU MAY ONLY LEAVE TO RETURN TO YOUR CLASS, WITH NO RE-ENTRY.

If you got your picture taken during picture re-take day – your IDs are now available in the Annex office.  Please stop by and pick them up.

There is an SGA meeting on Wednesday after school in the community room.

From Patriotic Firebirds: This month Texas Roadhouse on Tylersville will be donating 10% proceeds to Patriotic Firebirds this will allow us to support more Firebird Military Families!

Lakota West Art Club will meet November 28th, and December 12th, in room 283 Mrs. Kessler’s room. Come and join, no art experience required, everyone of all grades are welcome. No club card is required.

Buckets of Blessings is holding their annual winter donation drive. They are collecting winter clothing items, like hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, and hygiene items. The items will be donated to local shelters in the Cincinnati area. Donations are taken in the office. Any questions? Email bucketsofblessings1@gmail.com

LSSA has ten $500.00 scholarships for current Graduating 2019 High School Seniors who are children or Grandchildren of an active LSSA member.  More information will be in guidance.

Volunteer Opportunities
St John Annual Craft Show needs student volunteers!  Friday, November 30 after school until 8pm and Saturday Dec 1, 6:45-11:30 am you can sign up in the Front Office. 

We are looking for volunteers to help with the Cincinnati Hungry Turkey on Saturday, November 24, 2018 and the Cincinnati Cocoa Classic on Saturday, February 16, 2019 both benefitting Whole Again. Volunteers help to support a great cause, get an awesome event gear item, receive food while volunteering and lend a hand in allowing participants and themselves to have an inspirational experience they’ll always remember.
